Biography:
I’m a Ph.D. student in Comparative Literature and Asian Studies. I concentrate on modern Japanese and Korean cinema, literature, and gender studies. My research compares the representation of prostitutes in postwar Japan and Korea and investigates the notion of agency through the lens of affect
