Asian Studies Awards Ceremony

On April 28, The Department of Asian Studies held its first ever in-person Awards Ceremony. More than 100 students, parents, faculty, and staff were in attendance. Harrison Brennan (Asian Studies), Nora Van Horn (Chinese), Lia O’Leary (Japanese), and Rachel Bodnar (Korean) received Janssen Family Prize awards and Cecil Houseknecht (Asian Studies), Rachel Phillips (Chinese), Yushi Hou (Japanese), and Rachel Bodnar (Korean) were honored as our student marshals. In addition, 102 students were awarded certificates for Outstanding Academic Excellence and being Standout Cultural Ambassadors.
