Unveiling Ceremony of the PSU-NTNU Mandarin Training Center
On Friday, Jan. 14, 2022, Penn State Asian Studies hosted the Executive Vice President (Executive Provost) of the National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) in a hybrid in-person and online “Unveiling Ceremony.” In the ceremony, executive Vice President Frank Ying from Taiwan and Department Head Erica Brindley jointly unveiled a plaque gifted to PSU Asian Studies by the NTNU to commemorate the beginning of an ongoing institutional exchange and partnership that supports the study of Mandarin Chinese. Speeches were given by representatives of both universities as well as the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New York.
