Biography:
Muyun Zhou is a Ph.D. student in Asian Studies and Comparative Literature at Penn State University. Her research interest includes global Sinophone literature and arts in the late 20th century and Cold War studies through a transnational/diasporic lens. She is currently studying the Sinophone intermedial expressions of Internationalism through locations such as Singapore, the US, and South Korea during the 1960s-70s. In addition to her academic work at Penn State, Muyun is also passionate about public-facing digital humanities and has previously worked with multiple digital art history projects at Harvard FAS Chinese Art Media Lab (CAMLab), The Palace Museum (Beijing), and the Frick Collection (New York).
